booster club meetings

The Football Boosters meet each Monday night during the season and all through the Championship playoffs as long as we are actively participating. Meetings are Monday nights @ 7:30 pm in the film room of the football complex located at Nurmi Nelson Field. All meetings are open to the public, You do not have to be a member to attend. We are proud of our Booster Club and believe it is a strong and vital aspect of our success in achieving the prominence of our Football program and the National recognition that has made our community and alumni so proud with 22 District, 6 State Titles and twice selected as National Champions by Sports IIlustrated and USA Today, along with our Coach Bill Castle being selected as “COACH OF THE CENTURY” by the FLORIDA HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION. Coach Castle is currently in his 36th season as Head Coach( with 360 wins and still going)

We believe our Booster meetings are special with guest speakers, (ex players, prominent alumni, and community leaders) updated athletic events and administrative reports by Dan Talbot, LHS Athletic Director.

Our Media and Statistical Guru, Rob Myers keeps us informed of football stats, records and interesting facts of teams around the State and Nation.

The meeting concludes with Coach Castle report and update reviews of last game and preview of future week opponent. The meeting concludes with highlight film of the previous game.

All of this in one hour each night as we realize our coaches and boosters have had a long day and tomorrow will be another. Friday nights are exciting, Monday nights are informative and fun. We invite everyone to come and enjoy the show.
